Friday morning, we left Rosemount at 8am CST. We arrived in Casper, WY around 11:30MST. We battled strong winds all the way through South Dakota, averaging between 5.5 and 6.4mpg. As the evening settled in and the winds died down, we had a pleasant drive from Kadoka, SD to our destination for the evening in Casper, WY. We have another 8 hours of driving ahead of us today and then we will be within a day’s travel to our final destination. Weather this morning is cool and clear and should make for great driving. This picture was taken at Fort Robinson State Park, Nebraska as we travelled west on US 20.
